Consumeron’s app for on-demand personal assistance and delivery is in the final stages of development. The company sees recent announcements by major auto manufacturers that they are incorporating built-in 4G connectivityand wearable technology into their vehicles as a major step towards the “hyperconnected” vehicles and mobile agents that play a central role in the Consumeron system.
After CEO Mark Barron listened to retail executives speak on the future of retailing at the Milken Institute Global Conference, Consumeron has established a business model for licensing its technology to retailers who aim to deliver goods to consumers on-demand. The recent success of companies such as Deliv and Instacart, who deliver from retailers to consumers, and Neiman Marcus’s telepresence-equipped NM App, which allows customers to shop remotely and interact with store employees, are all prime examples of the potential for Consumeron’s technology.
