In June 2014, Bel Air X began putting Consumeron technology to use, in an invite-only private beta for consumers and contractors in Bel-Air, California. The service connects customers with a telepresence-enabled personal assistant, on demand, who can retrieve goods from area retailers – and provide live streaming point-of-view video and images throughout. Bel-Air residents can check their eligibility and sign up for an invitation at the Bel Air X website.
